Life is beginning to open up. We can hug friends and family, eat dinner in a restaurant, work out at our gyms, or visit our favourite gallery/museum.

But with this relative freedom comes trepidation. There’s still palpable anxiety about what will come next and whether we’ll face further lockdowns. We’re unsure how to be in social settings; we’re collectively processing what the f*ck we’ve all been through and finding new ways to operate in a society that is finding its feet again.

With all of this in mind, we’ve dedicated June’s digital edition to the theme of release and reset. We bring you stories of people who have gone through this process of releasing past emotional burdens and ideas on how we can reset our thinking around some of the big issues in our lives, from borders to a fairer and more ethical fashion industry.
