The idea of home means different things to different people. It could be a physical space, a person, your own body. It could be something you long for, something you run from, or something you’ve never known.

This month we’ve brought together a range of different voices to explore what home means to them, what it brings up for them and what our collective idea of home feels like. We’ll be adding more features and essays to the issue as we move through the month.

Alongside the essays and articles we’ve also curated England Your England, an exhibition and limited edition zine that explores what English culture looks like in 2021. The physical exhibition runs from 8 September - 14 November at Coal Drops Yard, there’s more info here and you can buy the zine here.

Our Home issue is available for members to read as part of their monthly benefits, if you’d like to sign up you can join here.
